Neal Cannon, Attorney
Born in Texas, Neal Cannon grew up in Houston and returned there after completing law school. He and his wife, Linda, attend St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, and his hobbies include cooking, sailing, exploring, and whitewater rafting. Educated at Southern Methodist University (B.A.) and University of Texas School of Law (LL.B.), Neal Cannon is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association. He began the practice of law as an associate with the firm of Thompson & Hippard, where he worked closely with the outstanding trial lawyer, James J. Hippard. He was made a partner in the firm of Thompson, Hippard, Tinsley & Cannon before he left to open his own law office.
Mr. Cannon is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas. Mary Lou Reinhart, Paralegal
Mary Lou graduated from the University of Arkansas. As Mr. Cannon's paralegal, she manages his docket, works with clients to keep them informed about their cases, and is in charge of obtaining necessary information and documents for cases.
She has worked with Mr. Cannon for over thirty years, and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the practical aspects of running the office and assisting clients.
Neal Cannon represents clients in business and commercial civil litigation and has been lead counsel in cases involving over 1500 clients in Texas state and federal courts.
